Residential Rehab Program in Bali

Our residential program is the heart of everything we do: you live here, in a quiet garden setting, with structure, clinical care and people who walk this path with you every day.

I'm the clinical director at BaliRehabCenter, and I'd like to tell you honestly what our residential program is — and what it isn't. It is not a magic cure, and anyone who promises you one is not being truthful with you. What it is: a protected stretch of time, usually 28, 60 or 90 days, in which you live away from the people, places and pressures that have been tied to drinking or using, while a licensed clinical team gives you evidence-based support every single day.

Most of the people who come to us have tried to stop on their own, more than once. That is not a failure of character. Addiction reshapes habits, relationships and the nervous system itself, and undoing that work takes time, structure and skilled help. Our job is to provide all three, in a setting that treats you with dignity from the first message to the day you fly home.

Who this is for

The residential program is for adults who feel that outpatient support, willpower or "cutting down" hasn't been enough — and who can step away from daily life for at least four weeks. We welcome guests struggling with alcohol, drugs, or both, from anywhere in the world. Many of our guests are professionals, parents and business owners who need absolute discretion; confidentiality is built into every part of how we operate.

What's included

A typical day

Days here have a gentle but reliable rhythm. Mornings start with light movement or meditation in the garden, then breakfast and a check-in circle. The late morning is for individual therapy or a clinical session. After lunch and rest, there is group work, a skills workshop or time with our wellness team. Evenings are quieter — reflection, a walk, a shared meal, an early night. Structure is part of the medicine: it lets your body and mind settle into a rhythm that addiction took away.

If you're wondering whether this is the right step, you don't have to decide today. One confidential WhatsApp message starts a conversation, not a commitment — see how admission works or review program pricing. We'll answer honestly, including telling you if we believe a different kind of care would serve you better.

Residential Program — Common Questions

How long is the residential program?
Most guests stay 28, 60 or 90 days. We recommend a length after the initial assessment, but the decision always remains yours. Many people who arrive for 28 days choose to extend once they feel the benefit of the structure. Details are on our pricing page.
Can I keep in touch with my family during the program?
Yes. After a short settling-in period in the first days, regular contact with loved ones is encouraged, and we offer family sessions by video call. Recovery rarely happens in isolation from the people who matter.
Do I need a detox before starting the residential program?
Not everyone does. Our doctor assesses this on arrival. If withdrawal support is needed, our medically supported detox happens here, in your own room, before the full therapy schedule begins.
Is the 12-step approach mandatory?
No. We offer a 12-step track because many guests find it valuable, but our core program is built on CBT, motivational interviewing and individual counselling. You choose what belongs in your recovery.
How private is the program?
Completely. We never disclose who stays with us, we don't publish our exact address online, and your enquiry is read only by the clinical team. See contact and confidentiality.
